Exercise of the week (3)

For this week we have prepared an exercise that can be done in the warm-up part of the workout.

Materials needed:

- striped poles, heads, cones, a speed ladder, two 1-metre goals, lots of balls.

Exercise description:

Materials laid out as in the picture, each player will have a ball in their possession. The coach will be between the two 1m goals with a cup in each hand (red/blue).

Player A drives the ball between the striped goalposts (1) and then passes it to player B (2).

Player B before receiving the ball performs variations of drills at the speed scrimmage (I), player B takes possession of the ball, drives it a few metres and finishes in the colour of the goal called by the coach (3 - 4).

After a period of time the player will finish in the colour of the goal shown by the coach (the coach will raise the red or blue cup).

                                               
 

Progression I of the exercise

Materials placed in the same way as in the first part of the exercise, player A drives the ball between the spiked hoops (1).

Player A passes the ball to player B (2), player B before receiving the ball performs variations of the speed ladder exercise (I).

Player B passes the ball back to player A (3), player A passes the ball to player B (4).

Player B completes the action from the first in the colour of the goal called or shown by the coach (5).
