For this week, we have prepared a drill that can be used in the warm-up phase of the training session.
Required equipment:
- cones
- flat markers
- two speed ladders
- two small goals

Exercise description:
The equipment is set up as shown in the diagram above.
The first players A each start with a ball and begin the exercise at the same time.
Players A dribble the ball toward the middle cone (1).
Once they reach the cone, they play a pass to each other (2) into the path of the opposite player (I).
Player A then passes the ball to player B (3) and moves to the back of line B (II).
Player B passes the ball to player C (4), then performs different speed ladder exercises (III) before moving to the back of line C.
Player C dribbles through the cones and finishes by placing the ball into the empty small goal (5, 6).
As shown in the diagram, players rotate positions in alphabetical order.
Progression of the exercise

The main objective of the progression is to introduce a 3/4 intensity run after the pass.
Players continue to pass the ball in alphabetical order and rotate positions in the same sequence.
After passing the ball to player C, player B no longer performs speed ladder exercises, but instead makes a 3/4 intensity run into player C’s position.
The final part of the drill remains the same as in the basic version.
Each variation can be performed for 6–7 minutes, with a 3–5 minute recovery between sets.
During the recovery period, players can perform stretching exercises.
