Exercise of the week (39)

For this week, we have prepared a finishing exercise with shooting on goal, with progression variations.

Required materials: cones, footballs.

Number of players: 8 – 10 players + 1 goalkeeper.
 


 

Exercise description:

Materials placed as in the image, each player A will have a ball in their possession.

Player A passes the ball to player B (1), player B passes the ball to player C (2).

Player C passes the ball to player D (3) into space (I).

Player D crosses the ball for players E or F (4), they attack the near and far post respectively (II, III) and finish the action with a shot on goal (5).

Players will change positions in alphabetical order.

Player A passes the ball to player B (1), player B passes the ball back to player A (2).

Player A runs towards the ball (I) and passes the ball to player D (3).

Player D plays a short pass to player C (4), player C comes towards the ball (II) and opens into space (III) to player D (5).

Player D crosses the ball for players E or F (6), they attack the near and far post respectively (IV, V) and finish the action with a shot on goal (7).

Players will change positions in alphabetical order.

Player A drives the ball a few metres and then passes it to player C (1,2).

Player C plays a short pass to player B (3), player B runs towards the ball (I).

Player B passes the ball to player D (4) into space (II).

Player D crosses the ball for players E or F (5), they attack the near and far post respectively (IV, V) and finish the action with a shot on goal (6).

Players will change positions in alphabetical order.
