Exercise of the week (7)
For this week we have prepared an exercise that can be done in training sessions to improve football-specific fitness.
Materials needed:
- fences, two speed ladders, spiked poles, heads, lots of balls.
Description of the exercise:
          The work surface marked out as in the picture, the coach and the third goalkeeper will be between the two goals with balls in their possession.
4 teams will be formed, in the picture teams C and D will run a short field game.
          Players from teams A and B will take turns playing:
- jumping over fences (I);
- variations on the speed ladder (II);
- running with added steps between spiked hurdles (III).
           Players A and B receive the ball and finish with a kick at goal (1 - 2).
           The exercise takes place over 6-minute halves with a 3-minute break between halves.
           During the break groups A and B will swap with groups C and D.
