Exercise of the week (16)
We continue the exercise of the week project with an exercise that can be done in the training process to train soccer specific physical preparation.
Materials needed: hoops, spiked goalposts, agility ladder, fences, soccer balls
Number of players: lot of players.

 

Exercise description:

            Materials set up as in the picture, four workstations + four squares where 4 vs 1 games will be played.
Players will perform:
- players A - variations of agility ladder drills;
- players B - jumping over fences;
- players C - sprint sprints through the spiked hurdles;
- players D - jumping in left-right circles (Figure 9).
            Players will always change places alphabetically.
            On the coach's whistle the players will run to the squares made and play 4 vs 1 games.
            The drill will be done as follows:
- at workstations, 6 minutes;
- 4 vs 1, 2 minutes;
- break 3 minutes.
