“Words in Motion”

A dynamic and educational game that combines movement with vocabulary development and focus. “Words in Motion” encourages teamwork, quick reactions, and creative thinking, turning learning into a fun and engaging competition.

Materials needed:

• Laminated alphabet letters (A–Z);

• One hoop.

  
   

Game description:

Students are divided into four teams, and the alphabet letters are placed inside the hoop, positioned approximately 10 meters away from each team.

At the teacher’s signal, the first student from each team runs to the hoop, selects one letter, then returns and places it in front of their team.
Once the letter is placed down, the next student starts running to bring another letter, and so on, until all letters are distributed among the teams.

After collecting their letters, each team must form a word using the letters they have gathered.
The team that creates a correct word first wins the game.

Optional variations and rules:

• Word must have at least 3 letters;

• Word must have at least 4 letters;

• Word can be in English;

• Extra points can be awarded for longer or more creative words.
